More Information Casa Sombra is truly the perfect place for you, your family, and friends and is one of Caribbean Fantasy's favorite properties to rent. The villa is located on the sandy beaches of Aventuras Akumal, seventy miles south of Cancun. Because of the unique design, every room displays a panoramic view of the Caribbean sea and sky. The first floor and second floor both offer large seaside patio/balcony with abundant seating. They are great places for outside dining, refreshments, siestas or sun bathing. They are also great spots for night time stargazing, relaxing, and sleeping.
Three bedrooms and baths with sleeping accommodations for 8-9 people make this popular villa very comfortable. Every bedroom is private and has its own bath and closet. All rooms have ceiling fans. The upstairs bedrooms have air-conditioning for those nights when there is no ocean breeze.
A full size, fully equipped kitchen is all that is needed for the occasional cook or the gourmet. (Cooking can be arranged, as Dino and Artemia will cook the entire meal for you for a small extra fee.) Imagine relaxing on the patio while your evening meal is being prepared for you. Fresh fish or lobster can be arranged. A friendly 'listo' (ready) brings you in for your feast. Afterwards go back to relaxing while the clean up is in progress.
Casa Sombra's spacious 2000 square feet, three bedroom villa can be combined with the 800 square foot one bedroom unit that is located in the tropical garden. This casita provides privacy and luxury for two people. It comes fully equipped. It can be rented at a discount if renting both units, or it can be rented separately. Truly, this is a place for making memories. You will love the friendly caretakers, lovely ocean, tropical breezes, sandy beaches, peaceful days, and much more. It is a home where you can take the time to reconnect with your friends and family. This home is designed for your enjoyment.

For larger parties, the villa and casita can be rented together. During the holidays, the villa and the casita must be rented together. A wonderfully decorated villa and casita located on the sandy beach of Aventuras Akumal, 50 feet from the water's edge. Fall of 2002 brought many fabulous updates to this comfortable home, such as an expanded floorplan, new tile floors, new furniture, new windows, new bathrooms, and an incredible 2nd floor terrace complete with loungechairs, hammocks, and a large seating area. Every room has an ocean view, and the master offers a king bed with 2 trundle beds, perfect for small children wanting to be close to Mom and Dad! The casita sits just to the west of the villa, and has a lovely tropical garden view, it's own aviary, A/C, & T/V. The wonderful full time caretakers, Dino & Artemia will take care of your everyday needs, and for an additional fee, they are available to prepare meals in either of the full kitchens, do laundry or provide babysitting. The master bedrooms in both units have a/c. For larger parties, the villa and casita can be rented together. During the holidays, the villa and the casita must be rented together.
