FROM THE OWNERS: After nine years of visiting Akumal we were finally able to purchase our own villa, San Francisco. It is our home away from home and when the going gets tough back in the world, we dream of our own spot in Paradise on the beaches of the Mayan Riviera. What could be more perfect?

Swim or snorkel in crystal clear waters just outside the back door. Or, if it is your preference, take a dip in the fresh water pool. Still too much effort? A siesta in the hammock on the veranda might be just what you need. We love our place in the sun and would like to share it with you!

It's warm and inviting and feels like a home you've been invited to visit. Gorgeous colors and furnishings, a magnificent ocean, white sand beach, privacy and a fabulous swimming pool. What more could you want in a luxury villa? Casa San Francisco is located on the ocean in South Akumal Bay with other luxury villas as neighbors.

Restaurants and shopping are available just two miles away in Akumal. The snorkeling and swimming is fabulous and the tranquility is beyond compare. The villa has four large beautiful bedrooms, three bathrooms, and also a two-story guesthouse with another bedroom and two full baths. There are high ceilings and ceiling fans throughout, as well as central air conditioning if you are so inclined.....not to mention the swimming pool for a cool relaxing dip!

The villa also has a beautiful living room, two stupendous domed brick ceilings, incredible hand painted Talaverra tile in all of the bathrooms, a charming dining room, fully equipped kitchen and an observatory on the roof to enjoy sunrise, sunset or gazing at the stars. There are many balconies, terraces, a fountain, flowers blooming and palm trees swaying ~ all of which give it a truly Spanish "hacienda on the ocean" feeling.
