Casa de Ensueno is a stunning semi-secluded villa in quiet Tankah Beach near Soliman Bay. It has a dramatic and unique open air floor plan with a center palapa roof and a dramatic rock wall in the living area that drops right into the gorgeous outdoor pool! There are three adjoining private lockable air conditioned bedroom suites, all similar and very well appointed. The master has an ocean view tub, and all suites have ocean/beach views, TVs with VCRs, mini kitchens, refrigerators, coffee pots, ceiling fans, and a safe. 

The spacious, Caribbean facing, fully equipped kitchen has a microwave and all the other appliances a guest will need. The architecture is awe inspiring. This villa comes with a kayak, enjoy exploring the bay!  Casa de Ensueno can now be rented as a luxury one bedroom beach front home (low season only), with exclusive use of the pool, beach front area, kitchen, dining, and living areas. This is awesome for honeymooners or couples looking for the ultimate romantic getaway. The caretakers, live on the grounds in the casita, and will be there to greet you. The open air floor plan is unique and dramatic, but please note that due to the unique architecture,  there are no walls separating the living room, kitchen, and dining room from the pool and beach - which is important to know, especially if you are traveling with small children. There is also weathered coral in the flooring both outside and in, so it can be uncomfortable for small children who are crawling.

The rate has been generously reduced due to compensate for some very obvious cosmetic issues which need to be refurbished (lots of concrete stains, many missing pool tiles, rusted metal due to the sea salt,  weathered palapas,  etc.). Until these items are upgraded and fixed, guests staying at Casa de Ensueno will get a super value on a 3 bedroom beach villa if they are willing to turn a blind eye to these issues. We have just replaced the main palapa. (No work will take place while clients are present). 

Meal preparation can be arranged with the on-site caretakers. They clean the house  daily except Sundays, and can be available for other requests the guests may have. There is a large BBQ grill poolside for the guests to use. There is wireless internet. 

Enjoy the sound of the tranquil lapping waves as the broken coral tumbles in on to the beach. This semi-secluded snorkeling beach, the cool ocean breeze and beautiful Caribbean views from every room in the villa. Take the kayak out for a scenic tour of the coral filled bay. Tankah Cenote is just a few lots away, (a natural limestone sinkhole) and is a fabulous place to swim and snorkel, or even see the regional flora and fauna from a new perspective. It is rumored that Manatee's have been seen entering Tankah Cenote from a hole in the bay (divers can use the route). Nearby in Tankah, there are some intimate restaurants, dive shops and hotels. Call for more information on this incredible property. There is nothing else in the area like Casa de Ensueno!

This home is one of the most unique on the Riviera Maya coast, perfect for those looking for an amazing deal. It's location is , as it is just north of the ruins and city of Tulum and south of the resort of Akumal. This makes this beach front villa somewhat secluded and remote from the hustle and bustle of the growing Yucatan.

In the end it was still too good for us. Truly fabulous. Karl is now completely spoiled. It was sublime. I want to tell you in person how beautiful we found your house, our first time living in a villa. All of the art and craft decorating the walls, the floors, the beds, the linens,the kitchen, the balconies, the pool that begins in the living room, the constant roar of the surf at the reef, the endless swimming and discoveries in the sea extending before us... Mariela and Armando are obviously the best-- truly caring but discreetly working behind the scenes to maintain the look and feel of luxury accomodations without intrusion. I should really tell you all we did, and ate, and are dreaming of doing the next time now that we know of Casa de Ensueno!

Casa de Ensueno is a perfect place for a small wedding on the beach! We had guests stay with us the weekend of the ceremony, then had the place to ourselves for the honeymoon, and it was so beautiful, peaceful, and private. The caretakers were great, snorkeling was awesome out on the reef, and we really enjoyed meals and drinks at the two restaurants nearby. It was wonderful to have the pool and the beach right there, literally in your living room. Caribbean Fantasy, we want to go back!

We had a fantastic time at Casa de Ensueno. We visited late September into early October. We had perfect weather!! It provided lots of privacy and yet there were a couple places to eat in walking distance and the towns Akumal and Tulum were nearby if you wanted to drive to a bigger town. The hosts were more than helpful and sweet, they did more than we expected, combing out the beach every morning and making sure all of our linens were clean with fresh beach towels everyday. The kitchen was fully equiped so we were able to cook a lot and just enjoy. We felt like we never really had to leave. The pool was beautiful, stunning views from every room, kayaks available for everyday use, lots of things to see (fish, rays, coral,...) in the water just out in front of the house. The only thing that was not so pleasant was the slippery tile in the kitchen and living area. Since we were in and out of the pool/ocean all day, the tile was wet (there were warnings about this) but I slipped and sprained my ankle horribly :(, so be VERY careful on the tile! Put towels down if you have to. But this just meant I had to sit and sunbathe more and enjoy some more frozen margaritas. I recommend this place and would love to return!!
