Casa Magna is a gorgeous and very private 6,000 square foot, 3 bedroom and 3.5 bath, two story oceanfront villa of shear opulence, which lies in the heart of the Mexican Caribbean. This one of a kind villa is located in Akumal, Mexico just 60 miles south of the Cancun airport. The stunning Casa Magna, situated on a magnificent rocky coastline, is only a five minute walk in either direction to Half Moon Bay and Akumal Bay, both offering incredible beaches. Both Half Moon Bay and Akumal Bay also offer services such as dive shops, restaurants, convenience stores and internet stations. Akumal Bay, being a slightly larger beach area, features a kid's club, several lovely boutiques, a money exchange and two small grocery stores. The breathtaking wonders of such an exquisite villa coupled with the convenience of everything that Akumal has to offer is exactly what you wish for while vacationing on the Riviera Maya!

Upon entering Casa Magna's exclusive walled estate, you are welcomed by the sprawling palatial grounds of a tropical garden complete with lush tropical foliage and the delightful sprinkling of banana trees. The charming front walkway, which takes you through the garden, leads you up a few stairs to the largest, privately-owned swimming pool in Akumal. This enormous 26' x 60' pool has a generous amount of poolside space for the entire family to lounge together, whether it be in chaise lounge chairs, hammocks or floating rafts for the pool. A gas and charcoal grill makes cooking poolside a great alternative. What a fabulous experience this has been so far, and this is only the beginning!

Walking through the front entrance of the villa, you will find yourself standing in an expansive foyer with cathedral ceilings. This magical space beckons you into an exceptionally spacious living room featuring plenty of comfortable couches for everyone to enjoy as well as a huge entertainment center including satellite TV with VCR and DVD player, stereo and even wireless portable speakers to place throughout the villa! There is even a cozy little reading nook off to the side of the living room which allows you to enjoy your own personal quiet time while still being able to engage in the company of your friends and family. What allows this room to be absolutely perfect is the amazing views of the Caribbean coastline seen through the wall of glass windows. It doesn't matter where you decide to relax in this immense living space, the views are always extraordinary!

Stroll through the living room's glass door to the back patio and you will find yourself exploring an unexpected yet enchanting and private atmosphere. This quaint and special niche offers plush, built-in couches that are bedecked with luxurious cushions and pillows made of rich colors, as well as a comfy set of table and chairs that seats six. The landscape features native tropical plants which perfectly compliments the natural surroundings of the backyard with its rocky coastline. And once again, the picturesque view of the Caribbean and its waves crashing on the rocks is wonderfully mesmerizing to say the least. You will feel as if you are the only one on the coast!

Leaving the patio and walking back through the living area towards the front entrance, you come to the generously sized dining room with an elegant glass table which comfortably seats 12. This lavish room with scenic views of the Caribbean ocean also has its own glass door which leads to the backyard and the luxurious back patio. In the other direction, the dining room spills into the elaborate, fully equipped, gourmet kitchen which is perfect for even the fussiest of chefs!

Before wandering up the stairs to the second floor, please don't forget to check out the fully equipped, air conditioned office with wireless internet connection, cell telephone and fax service upon request. This special room easily accommodates two children on the queen size futon. A half bath/powder room is suitably located nearby the office.

Now you are ready to ascend the opulent, curved staircase encircled with vibrant stained glass windows, which is located in the grand front foyer. Up the wood stairwell you will find the open air and columned hallway which leads to three large bedrooms. The first bedroom is the master suite with king size bed and its own en suite bath which includes a sunken tub shower that boasts gorgeous ocean views. Just off of the full bath area is a cozy additional room with two twin beds and ample size closet space, which beautifully sleeps two more children. The master bedroom also offers satellite TV, VCR and a DVD player as well as a balcony with stunning views of the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean.

The first guest bedroom offers another king size bed and its own spacious walk through closet which leads into the attached full bath with lovely ornate tile work and a stand up shower. This bedroom shares a big balcony and the same captivating Caribbean views as the master bedroom. The third guest bedroom features a king size bed, a small, private beachfront balcony with wonderful ocean views, and another walk through closet leading into a full bath with stand up shower. This over sized bathroom is shared with the charming, sunlit studio which includes a lending library, queen size sofa and chair and incredible, panoramic views of the front garden and lush, green jungle. This is definitely the spot to be to enjoy those one of a kind Caribbean sunsets!
