Villa Caribe 1-800-523-6618 Villa Caribe is a Mexican 3 bedroom home on the beach of Aventuras Akumal. Every room offers unobstructed views of the azure Caribbean. The exotic palaypa roof above the living room creates a very indigenous feeling enhancing the 1500 square foot home's open and breezy floor plan. Behind the main house is a small casita, which can be rented alone, or in addition to accommodate more people. Between the villa and the ocean there is a protected fire pit surrounded by concrete bench seats, perfect for stargazing moonlit rendezvous. In addition to this beach at Aventuras Akumal, many wonderful and unique beaches are only minutes away from Villa Caribe by car for swimming, snorkeling and diving. Both of Villa Caribe's bedrooms on the second level also face the sea, each with a private balcony and bathroom. Their interior windows open into the living area. Villa Caribe has a small but full kitchen separated by a bar from the dining area, which also has it's own patio. The red saltio tile floors enhance the remarkable Mexican decor. Villa Caribe's spacious main floor master bedroom has a king bed, 3/4 bath, private patio and opens up to the living room. The Yucatan is famous for it's cenotes and lagoons, filled with marine life waiting to be explored. Yalku Lagoon is a few minutes to the north, and the lagoon at Xelha Park is a few minutes to the south, with many cenotes in-between.
Magnificent Mayan ruins are nearby at Tulum and Coba. Chitzen Itza is only a few hours drive. Scattered along the coastline are many smaller less famous sites.
Villa Caribe is not far from Xcaret, an ecological park which includes many of the splendors of the Yucatan with-in it's gates. Swimming with dolphins, watching cultural dancing, or seeing an ancient Mayan village, are just a few of the numerous activities offered.
Within a few minutes drive of Villa Caribe, there are many wonderful and unique places at which to dine. From beach front cafes to elegant restaurants, the dining choices are wide and varied.
