We had a great time last week in the Playa Del Carmen area. We saw NO SICK PEOPLE THERE. Everyone in the area is saying they had no case of this flu, whatever it is? I think that maybe someone made all this stuff up just to keep people from taking their $ outside the other countries, but it was perfect, weather, food, people, tequila. The downside is the suffering to the local economy although we tried to do our fair share. The upside was that it was not crowded. I hope that these countries start to see this for what it really is, no worse than any seasonal flu. I think keeping people from the ports and towns along the coast is the wrong thing to do, maybe keeping less people out of the more populated cities for a time was a smart thing, but these resorts are really hurting now, and again, we saw no sick persons. Viva La Mexico!

GREAT trip! Loved staying at the Tan Ik... clean, beautiful property on best part of Half Moon Bay with best pool on Half Moon Bay!! From here on out, it will be our first choice in Akumal lodging for our clients!! Can also highly recommend Akumal Adventures for diving and fishing! So nice to have dive operator within walking distance of our condo and excellent service with Jose....from hauling all of our dive tanks in and out of the boat to fileting our fish (caught 3 dorado/mahi and a wahoo on two hour outing)! Actually, everyone in Akumal went over and above to make sure we had fun there. We've never been treated so well in Mexico! If any of your clients are still hesitant about going to the Yucatan, feel free to refer to them to me. Now is the BEST time to go!! And thanks again for working with us re: our on again/off again trip. Now Winter Park Travel appreciates Caribbean Fantasy even more!

We had a FABULOUS stay at Villa Caribe! We were so sad to leave! What an amazing house and location. Also, the housekeeper, Paulina, is amazing! What a blessing she is for that home. We bought a set of sand castle making toys, which we left at the house for future renters, if you want to add that to the notes for the house. Also, we were impressed with the dive shop that's just two doors south of the house (Aquatech). They took us on an all-day cave exploration, including lunch and snorkeling w/ turtles adventure for only $50/person. It was amazing. The little hotel on the same property as the dive shop (Villas DeRosa) had pretty good food, which we ordered to go and took back to our condo. Very convenient for the night we wanted to eat out but didn't want to drive anywhere. Also, their beach bar had the best margaritas on our trip, and had a daily happy hour from 4-5. We will definitely recommend Caribbean Fantasy to our friends who are headed to that area of Mexico in the future. We really hope to go back some day. Thanks for all your help!

We just returned from a fabulous week in Cancun, Feb 24th-March 3rd with our 2 children, ages 6 and 9. We had a wonderful experience both in Cancun and the surrounding areas including Akumal, Tulum, Xcaret and Playa Del Carmen. We rented a car and drove ourselves to these areas and felt completely safe at all times. I strongly recommend that tourists do not change their travel plans to Mexico for the near future. Although we did not stay in Akumal on this trip, we hope to in the future.
