It was perfect! Bright, open, airy, clean, fabulous views, everything we needed or could ever ask for! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A big thank you to the reservation dept in answering all my questions so quickly and for providing so much valuable information prior to our 14 nt stay. We wish we were still there! Thank you.

We had a great time! My friends and I rented the property for a week. It's located on a roped off road that is monitored by a guard which was nice. It is within walking distance from Blue Sky restaurant which has good guacamole and mango margaritas. They also have wood fired pizza but we forgot to try it! You can also walk to Casa Cenote however we heard there was an alligator the day we were going to try snorkeling so we passed. It's fun just to stand there and watch people come in and out. There is a little grocery store across from the cenote that had homemade tortillas, chips, sunscreen, hats, and ice and was very reasonable. The house itself definitely needs work however that is all noted in the description. It's just a rustic beach house! We still had fun in the pool even though it was missing numerous tiles. It was still clean and cool and refreshing during the day. We even left a couple of pool floaties for future guests. I recommend having Armando and his wife cook the pollo in the pit for you. It was the best chicken I have ever had! They also made some creamed vegetables that were amazing! The wi-fi worked great! It only went out a little on the day we were departing. It's cool to walk through the front door and see the ocean and the pool and have the daily breeze. If you are afraid of critters, I don't know if I would recommend this place. We were visited by a bat, scorpion, a stray dog, lizards and some roaches. Didn't seem to bother us much. We still had a fantastic time!! Plus you pretty much have your own beach with kayaks (bring some water shoes). The beach is pretty protected from the reef so the water was generally always very calm. So much to do in this area!

This stay was a short getaway for 3 old friends and the condo fit our needs very well and was in a perfect location for what we wanted to do during our stay. It was my 6th visit to Akumal and the first for my friends who fell in love with the area too. Our reservation process was so incredibly easy and the folks were so friendly. Do not miss the best bar La Buena Vida or any of the great snorkeling available right outside your door. One would be loco not to visit Akumal. :-)

Loved our stay in this colorful condo! It was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking. Of course, so easy to dine out in Akumal. We had great pasta and Sunday tacos at Que Onda nearby. It was fun to have the bikes, the large pool, and easy access to the lagoon for snorkeling. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Yal Ku Cai is a quiet retreat at the end of a busy road.

The accommodation was wonderful. Plenty of room for 2 couples. Location was convenient and views from the deck outstanding. I would highly recommend. Good value
