Lol Ka'naab Condo 9

Very nice place. Great location. The person we got the key from was so nice and incrediably helpful with check in as well as telling us the "lay of the land". We rented a car but you can walk to everything in Akumal however a car is nice to have if you want to venture out to Tulum or other places. The[c]ondo was very adequate for myself, my husband, our two girls and a boyfriend of one of the girls. Caribbean Fantasy was fantastic in answering all my questions I had before we got down to Akumal. I would highly recommend this condo-beautiful view- and Caribbean Fantasy as the place to book your vacation rental.

La Bahia 7

Wonderful condo, amazing view from the top floor. We usually rent beach level, but we rewarded with this great experience. It was a windy time of the year (between Christmas and New Years), but the area is still one of our favorites. La Bahia 7 was a perfect size for the two of us (even though it has the extra bedroom that we never even set foot in). The bathroom would be small for two couples. Kitchen was adequate (some limited kitchenware that could be improved). La Bahia staff are fantastic and take great care of the place and always available to assist. The complex is missing a pool, but otherwise you can't go wrong with a stay here. CF Note for future guests: There is a pool at La Buena Vida just down the beach for guests to use as patrons - a place all guests love hanging out. This takes away the noise from having a pool out your condo. Sometimes as patrons, you can use the pool 2 doors up at La Lunita too.

Casa de Ensueno

Jan 2017 was my second time staying here, and I was thrilled that this time they had perfectly working wi-fi. The main thing about the house is that if you just hang out in the open air living room under the palapa you cannot resist becoming as relaxed as you have ever been in your life. If you want to go out and do stuff, there's a cenote 2 minutes walk away, and a 5 minute drive will take you to Tulum and or Tulum beach, which is great for playing the surf. This house looks out on the turquoise waters of Tankah bay, you really could not ask for a better view. The bay is very shallow and so it is good for swimming for exercise, but if you want to snorkel you have to walk around to the edge of the bay were you get to the reefs. The reefs protect the bay from strong surf, which is why the water in front of the house is almost always tranquil. Although there are homes nearby, you have what is almost a private beach, which is awesome. At night, under a full moon, to have your own private beach to lie out on and gaze at the starts is incredible. The kitchen is well equipped and you can cook for yourself, or Mariel will cook something for you if you want. There's a nice restaurant, Blue Sky, that's 2 min walk away, as another alternative. One main piece of advice is to get water shoes early on, you can find them in town or at the Chedraui, the local equivalent of a Walmart. Since my size was hard to get, I just used a really old pair of low-cut hiking shoes, they were perfect. That's because the first 10 or 15 feet into the water there can be a fair amount of stones and pebbles, so if you want to walk straight into the ocean its better to have something on your feet. Even Crocs would probably work. Or you could go to Blue Sky and walk out on their pier, and go snorkeling from there. One of my favorite things here is that a short squall will appear out of nowhere and rain for 20 minutes and then half an hour later the sky will be blue again. The sound of the palms whooshing in the wind with the tropical downpour is so beautiful you don't want it to stop. I had one little downpour at dawn one day, just enough to raise a rainbow. The only hard part about this place is leaving it and going home, I could always stay longer. A magical spot. There are some little details with the house, but from experience I know that beach houses are always in a state of perpetual rebuilding, the salt corrosion is always wearing away at things, but it's still in great condition. Yal Ku Cai #3

I have booked numerous times with Caribbean Fantasy over the years. By far, the most outstanding and consistent service received from the entire team.. Prompt, professional and courteous. They go well and beyond to accommodate and make sure your stay is not only memorable but so personal that you will want to return. Highly recommend. Cathy
